Deux belles photos de l’ile iranienne Larak dans le golfe Persique, Iran.
Deux photos prises par Pooyan Shadpoor ont été sélectionnées, l’un par National Geographic, comme la photo du jour le 27.07.2015.
Et l’autre sélectionnée par Smithsonian Magazine Natural World le 11.2015.
Cet éclat brillant est appelé phytoplancton, qui est vert le jour et la nuit ils brillent alors qu’ils sont frappés par les vagues. Ces phytoplanctons se transforment en pétrole après des millions d’années.

Alors qu’il se promenait le long de la côte de Larak, en Iran, une île du golfe Persique, Pooyan Shadpoor, membre de Your Shot, est tombé sur cette scène lumineuse.
Les « lumières magiques du plancton […] m’a enchanté pour que je prenne la photo », écrit-il.

Two beautiful photos of the Iranian island Larak in the Persian Gulf, Iran.
Two photos taken by Pooyan Shadpoor have been selected, one by National Geographic, as the photo of the day on 27.07.2015.
And the other selected by Smithsonian Magazine Natural World on 11.2015.
This brilliant sheen is called phytoplankton, which are green in the day and glow at night as they are hit by waves. These phytoplankton transform into oil after millions of years.

BIOLUMINOUS LARAK
While walking along the shore of Larak, Iran—an island in the Persian Gulf—Your Shot member Pooyan Shadpoor came across this luminous scene.
The “magical lights of [the] plankton … enchanted me so that I snapped the shot,” he writes.
